Privacy, in plain words
This is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no comment box, no contact form and no mailing list — most of a privacy policy's usual subject matter simply has nowhere to happen here.
What the site handles
- Server logs. The infrastructure serving these pages records ordinary request data — IP address, page requested, time, browser identifier — the way effectively all web hosting does. We use logs in aggregate to keep the site working; we do not build profiles of readers.
- No cookies set by us, no analytics scripts. The pages are plain files. If that changes, this page changes first.
- Outbound partner links. Links marked as affiliate links route through this site's own /go/ addresses so a partner can attribute a visit. What a partner site collects once you arrive is governed by that site's own privacy policy — read it there, especially before entering health or payment details anywhere.
If you email [email protected], we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with, and we do not add you to anything — there is no list to add you to. Please keep health details out of your email; we are not a dental practice and cannot protect or act on clinical information.
Your choices
Read without logging in, block outbound links if you prefer, and email if you want anything you sent to us deleted. This page describes everything the site does; there is no second, longer version.
